My Project

This is an university co-developed final year project. I was responsible for Front-end development and implementation, as well as User Interface and User Experience Design. The project has been awarded the Runner Up Best Project Prize at the 2017 School of Computing and Information Technology Tradeshow

The goals of this project are utilising a multi-agent system to deliver the required functionality, utilising both web and mobile technology to simulate emergency events and the responses to such events.

Emergency events are severely harmful to individuals, families and society, leading to the destruction of property and the environment, as well as often causing fatal injury to bystanders and those involved. In metropolitan areas, these issues are magnified, due to the scale and complexity of managing emergency events in high-density areas.

An efficient emergency response is indispensable in the effort to guarantee the normal operation of society, however resources usually vary in allocations, function and scale. This project aims to unify and streamline the processes involved in managing emergency resources, including efficiently allocating rescue resources, scheduling the use of resources between emergency events and monitoring the delivery of resources.
